Summary

Competition project in 2020 :
Producing concept design - “Trendy Goods representing LG Sciencepark”. The target market is 20,000 visitors of LG Sciencepark every year.

LG Sciencepark is a research complex where LG's R&D experts in various fields such as electronics, chemical, biotechnology, software and telecommunications gathered in single place to create technology that will contribute to the future growth beyond LG as well as LG group's hub that leads "Digital Transformation," "Open Innovation," and " Preparation of Future R&D.“

COncept

we applied geometric pattern design on the packaging of the goods with the theme of “Extraordinary People”.

The geometric figure pattern expresses talents in various fields, and the figures in the pattern all have different shapes, which symbolises the diversity of talents. As a pattern graphic that embodies the brand's value “LG Science Park, a hub where diverse talents gather to create synergy”, it is in line with the meaning of the LG Science Park's symbol mark, “Synergy effect by the collection of excellent DNAs and fusion”.

Limited Edition

The limited edition for the summer season, we also created the cold drink cup family called "Hot Selected".

Inspired by the “personality and creativity” of various talents, it is customisable by customer to choose a colour combination when they purchase which suits their personal preference.

Total 25 types

The body and straw are transparent, and the lid and sleeve are each in five colours, with a total of 25 combinations.

All five colours are bright and refreshing to suit the summer season, and we have specially selected colours that can mix and match well with any combination. (*production cost saving solution as it comes with only fixed size)
